Daily DeviationGiven 2004-05-01Yakuza Irezumi by ~kyodai showcases a massive pixel piece that's sure to please your tastes. To boot, it's even wallpaper sized! (And when was the last time you had a pixel wallpaper, hmm?) In the grand scheme of things -- with Japanese symbols and attractive flowers galore -- this is one of the more prettiest pieces that have come out of our pixel art gallery. I found the link to this priceless deviation at your journal. Honestly, I was shocked when I saw the full view. Everything is so well detailed that I think I don't even have any words of criticism. Dragon and samurai look great. Flowers and clouds are also on top. The only thing I would fix here is sky. I fully agree with *gas13, who said that sky is the only not well detailed thing. It's not that it looks boring or something, but it's so... so... blank. Oh, wait, I've found another incompleteness! The flowers inside the Dragon's body, they miss shading! Go fix it!
But, overall, this piece is great. You've done a great job, ~kyodai, and I hope you'll shock me again some other day. This deviation goes to my favourites immediately.
Keep up good work!

My only niggle with the piece is the hand the upturned hand. It looks kind of wonky, but I could just be looking at it wrongly.
